THE ASHFIELD FAMILY DENTAL COMMITMENT

At Ashfield Family Dental, we are committed to the life-long oral health and wellbeing of our patients. Our mission is to provide quality care in all facets of dentistry to you and your family giving you a healthy radiant smile.

Our long established dental clinic in Ashfield began with Dr Edwin Kwok. Dr Edwin Kwok served the Ashfield community for many years, he recently retired from the practice in 2013 to become a pastor.
Dr Johnson Tang elevated his responsibilities to support the local community and has been providing fantastic dental care for his patients who visit from far and wide.
We firmly believe that honest, transparent dental care is the best way to provide dentistry, we keep all of our patients informed about the treatments, recommendations and outcomes based on their needs.
Overall health is the very basis for a beautiful smile and that’s one of the core reasons we have invested in the latest dental technologies for our clinic so we can provide fast, effective & importantly affordable dental treatments in a relaxing, comfortable environment.

Dr Johnson Tang

Dr. Johnson Tang obtained his degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide, one of Australia’s most prestigious dental schools

Dr Evita Chen

Dr. Evita Chen obtained her accreditation as General Dentist by the Australian Dental Council after relocating to Sydney.

CAROL LUO

Carol joined Ashfield Family Dental since 2015 having worked together with Dr Johnson Tang since 2009. She is an experienced dental assistant, a vital role in helping our dentist achieve high quality work. She is an honest sincere person and loves to smile and laugh which help our patients ease their dental anxiety.

FAYE MAO

Faye also worked together with Dr Johnson Tang since 2009 and also joined Ashfield Family Dental since Dr Johnson took over the practice in 2013. She is friendly and able to speak both Cantonese and Mandarin. Together with Carol they form a great support team at the practice helping chairside and at the reception. She is active member of the local chinese Christian community.

LITA REICHSTEIN

Lita is the gem of Ashfield Family Dental. She was worked in the practice since Dr Kwok started 20 years ago. She is from Philippines and though getting on in age she continues to work at this practice. Catch her Saturdays!

ABOUT ASHFIELD FAMILY DENTAL

We strive to provide excellent quality of service and care to all our patients with the latest knowledge and technology (such as CEREC) as well as strict infection control standards. Whether it is a routine cleaning appointment or a complex implant procedure, rest assured that we will put in all our efforts to achieve your individual dental needs. BILLING AND PAYMENT

While our services is of the highest standards, the cost of our treatments is affordable. We are preferred providers for BUPA (HBA and MBF) andCBHS. Patient with these health funds enjoy the maximum benefits in their claims at preset charges.

In 2014, the Australian government – Medicare, has introduced the “Child Dental Benefit Schedule” which provides $1000 for eligbile children age 2-17. Ashfield Family Dental will be able to bulk-bill for treatments provided under this scheme. For more information please visit the Medicare website. We also use HICAPS facility which means claims can be done conveniently on the spot – this includes over 20 private health insurance companies as well as Medicare.

FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE

We understand that our patients lead busy lives with work, family and friends. We are open 6 days a week with extended hours on Thursday night and if need be arrange appointments after hours. This is our commitment to our patients to provide convenience as well as satisfying dental care.
